DOWNGRADE. Founded 2008 by the Jepsen family in Dorchester, Iowa, and ACQUIRED BY JBS (the world's largest meat company) in 2015; it now operates from Greeley, Colorado — JBS USA's headquarters. The product claim itself is real and above conventional beef: 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, no grain, no animal byproducts, no antibiotics, no added hormones, born-pastured-harvested in the USA. But it is a BRAND owned by the largest meatpacker on earth, aggregating cattle from many unnamed Midwest farms. The name reads as a family grass farm; it is a JBS label. Note also that 'Product of USA' labelling on grass-fed beef has been the subject of documented origin-labelling controversy in this exact category.
