Sushi-Wa
Link

For $70, the team at Chasing Sage will create a seasonal feast that’s heavy on local produce. Wild Common
Link
Spring Street’s Wild Common is a tasting menu restaurant for people who don’t normally like tasting menus. It’s not stuffy or pretentious, but rather a chill atmosphere full of light installations, art, and vegetation — a place that makes it easy to relax into the four-course meal at $85 a person. Four courses may not sound like much, but the first course, “Bites,” includes substantial samples of rich chicken shio ramen, crab rice with kimchi, and chicken har gao. Chef Orlando Pagán will add a caviar supplement served eggs Benedict style for those who want to really indulge.

The Restaurant at Zero George
Link
Zero Restaurant keeps its tasting menu playful with trompe l’oeil snacks to start the meal — for example, the potted plate brought to the table is actually a perfect radish buried in a rich quinoa butter meant to look like dirt. What follows is around six dishes that are just as thoughtful, like a recent plate of tilefish with English peas, green garlic, and “spring things.” Sit on the patio if the weather is nice, and allow the Zero team to take care of you. $145 to start, with options to add on caviar, truffles, wine pairings, and wagyu.sourcing signal

Charleston Grill
Link

Take a seat in the stylish, newly renovated dining room and enjoy live jazz while chef de cuisine Suzy Castelloe creates a six-course meal for you. The menu is seasonal and leans on flavors from the Lowcountry and around the globe. $150 plus options for wine pairings.

Raw Lab
Link
Intimate tasting room Raw Lab is all about oysters. Customers are seated around a raw bar full of ice, and chef Kevin Joseph is the ringmaster of the evening. He leads diners through several courses of bivalves, caviar bumps, a seasonal soup, ceviche, a lobster salad, salmon with more caviar, and a few other seafood-centric courses. Joseph is very interactive with his audience (the website warns that “introverts beware”) and will probably tell a few dad jokes. The evening starts at $225 and includes wine pairings.
