“See on map #12 in 2025 San Francisco GenreFrench wine bar Price$$$ Michael and Lindsay Tusk opened Verjus in 2019 as a casual bar and bottle shop with a natural wine bent. It closed during the pandemic, but [was reborn in 2024](https://www.sfchronicle.com/food/restaurants/article/verjus-returns-french-sf-19960155.php) with a cocktail program and an expanded food menu. Above the open kitchen is a marquee whose warm glow reflects on the polished wood floors and candy-coated red ceiling that would make for a killer dance floor, all reverberating with a constant, high-energy din. Address 528 Washington St., San Francisco Have you been? 24.”
