Fête du Citron!
Feb 5
Written By Ashley Dodge
A Celebration of Citrus from the South of France 🍋
Chefs love how citrus fruits bring flashes of color and brightness to the chilly winter months. An enduring symbol of the Mediterranean, citrus trees have grown along the sun-drenched coastline since the early 15th century.
In fact, in the town of Menton, France from February to March the tranquil parks and squares become a carnival of citrus, filled with outlandish sculptures and elaborate patterns made entirely of oranges and lemons.
The annual 'Fête du Citron' is a spectacular event with parades, music, dancing, and bursts of confetti! More than 140 tons of fruit goes into the stunning citrus displays, the vibrant sculptures travelling down the Promenade du Soleil during the Golden Fruit Parade.
And when the festivities end, the oranges and lemons become marmalades, jams and limoncello! Join us as we celebrate how these magical fruits bring some winter sunshine to the plates!
As always, bottles of wine featured at each dinner are available for purchase.

We hold 155 venues in Denver, CO and could score 41 of them. This one is not among them, so it has no position — not a low one.
There is no score breakdown to show: nothing we read about this venue earned points in any of the four categories, so a bar chart of zeroes would look like a verdict on the kitchen rather than on what it publishes. What we did read is below.
v1.7.4 0.0/100 = sourcing 0.0/50 (named-farm 0 distinct, named-region 0 distinct, attribute 0 distinct, buzzword 0 distinct; +15% corroboration lift from sourcing press) + farm partners 0.0/20 (none scored) + registry 0.0/12 (none listed) + press 0.0/18 (capped at 35% of the 0.0-point evidence base).
Buzzwords only. This venue uses sourcing language ("farm-fresh", "locally sourced") but names no farms, regions, or verifiable attributes.
