Reservations are recommended, especially Friday and Saturday evenings. Book through SevenRooms, or walk in and join us at the bar.
When is Happy Hour?
Tuesday through Friday, 4 to 6 pm: $10 classic cocktails (Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Daiquiri, Sidecar, Lemon Drop, Negroni), 25% off wine and zero-proof cocktails, $3 lager, $6 beer and a shot, and a $10 bites menu including albondigas, patatas bravas, truffle-potato pavé, and sautéed shrimp. Ask about our break-even pour.

We’re minutes away. Ideal for pre-theater dinner or post-show cocktails and dessert. Tell us your curtain time and we’ll pace the meal.
How does the Wine Club work?
Members pick up two curated bottles each month at the bar, get first seats at wine dinners, and corkage is waived on club bottles when you dine with us. Join the founding list above.
Can Antidote host my private event?
Yes. We host birthdays, showers, corporate dinners, and pharmaceutical and medical education dinners, from intimate gatherings to full buyouts of our 76-seat room. Share your date, guest count, and occasion through the private events form and our team will follow up.
Is Antidote good for date night?
It was designed for it. Velvet teal booths, golden light, a Wine Spectator-recognized wine list, and a menu made for sharing. One of the east side’s best date night spots, minutes from Belle Isle.
What kind of food is it?
Modern American with Spanish influence: albóndigas, patatas bravas, truffle-potato pavé, piri-piri roasted chicken, and Basque cheesecake, alongside a Wine Spectator-recognized wine list and signature cocktails.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. The menu marks vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, and our kitchen is happy to guide you through options. Tell your server about any allergies and we will take care of you.
Can I bring my own wine?
You are welcome to bring a special bottle. Corkage is $25, and it is waived on Wine Club bottles when you dine with us.
Is there a dress code?
Dress to enjoy yourself. Most guests land somewhere between smart casual and dressed up for date night. Come as you are comfortable.
Can you seat large parties?
Yes. Our room seats 76, and we host large groups regularly. For parties of eight or more, or anything you want to make special, reach out through the private events form and we will set it up.

Do you offer takeout or delivery?
Antidote is a dine-in experience by design. We do not offer delivery, though we are happy to package dessert or a remaining bottle per Michigan law. For the full experience, reserve a table.
Is Antidote family friendly?
Families are welcome, especially at weekend brunch. Evenings lean toward date night and grown-up celebrations, so little ones may enjoy brunch hours most.
Evenings worth lingering over.

Menu as captured Aug 30, 2026 · source ↗
We hold 140 venues in Detroit, MI and could score 21 of them. This one is not among them, so it has no position — not a low one.
There is no score breakdown to show: nothing we read about this venue earned points in any of the four categories, so a bar chart of zeroes would look like a verdict on the kitchen rather than on what it publishes. What we did read is below.
v1.7.4 0.0/100 = sourcing 0.0/50 (named-farm 0 distinct, named-region 0 distinct, attribute 0 distinct, buzzword 0 distinct) + farm partners 0.0/20 (none scored) + registry 0.0/12 (none listed) + press 0.0/18 (capped at 35% of the 0.0-point evidence base).
Buzzwords only. This venue uses sourcing language ("farm-fresh", "locally sourced") but names no farms, regions, or verifiable attributes.
