STARTED WITH A VISION
Tacos Veganos began in early 2019, delivering plant-based tamales out of a car across Phoenix.
In 2020, the brand launched its first pop-up with borrowed canopies, an ice chest, and street-inspired recipes. In 117-degree heat, lines wrapped the block — proving the demand was real.
Pop-ups grew into a food truck, then two brick-and-mortar locations — built through strong operations and community support.
Tacos Veganos was created to bring back the street-style taco experience — simple, flavorful, comforting — reimagined as a vegan concept, without compromise.
Today, Tacos Veganos continues to grow with a focus on affordability, culture, and impact — building a nationwide brand while serving communities one family at a time.

Best birria I’ve EVER had! And I’m not even vegan! The agua de jamaica was perfectly sweetened and paired well with the beautiful food. I’m still blown away this meal was plant based. 10/10 would eat again!

So good. Popular, casual all vegan Mexican joint. Came here for a weekday lunch and the place was crowded. Ordered some tacos and the AZ burrito; the food was excellent. Would definitely come back.

1000% 5 stars amazing. I am absolutely impressed by how authentic and flavorful my food was. I've been eating here since becoming vegan about a year ago and every single time I am happy, impressed, and full! El pastor tacos are fire 🔥 and the green salsa just, hits the spot. Came here with a vegan friend on Friday for a late lunch and absolutely loved it! We arrived just before rush and since I couldn't decide what to order, I ordered all three things I was looking at: Abia taco, a cauli Baja taco, and the AZ burrito with " Carne Asada". In the time my friend i dined at the restaurant, so many people came and went. They do have table seating and a large menu you can review upon walking in. After that, you can order at the counter countertop and find this place to sit. I got a red and a green salsa, both paired well with my food. The burrito was also huge & the ...

I came across this on Uber eat. I am vegetarian and decided to give it a try. All I can say is 'wow'... These were the best tacos I have had in a long time. It's also the best vegan restaurant I have tried in the valley since I moved to AZ a few years ago(and I have tried quite a few). Next time I will skip uber eat and go get them, worth the travel from Goodyear!

If you are looking for Mexican food with a Vegan twist this is a great place for you. We came across this place that’s a little hidden. The service was great, pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. We ordered “Birria” queso tacos, “Birria” nachos, “Asada” Burrito and “Chicken” flautas. Everything had so much flavor and delicious to the last bite. Doesn’t quite compare to actual meat but nonetheless it was worth trying. Looking forward to trying something else from the menu soon.

I kid you not! For the past couple weeks, without fail I have craved, ate, and continued to crave their tacos 😋 I don't know what they put in there, but the birria is incredible!! I go in feeling hungry, eating the food, come out feeling full but not guilty!! I 100% recommend you try their food! Even if you aren't vegan, but if you are... an even better reason to try them out!! I can already see it, tacos veganos, a franchise known around the country being healthy and scrumptious!! If you want a great deal, I suggest you get the 5 tacos taco plate for $12

Love this restaurant! Been vegan for 5 years and just recently visited Arizona, normally we dont eat out for Mexican food because most restaurants dont really have accommodations for vegans but the whole menu here is vegan and everything my family had we enjoyed!
