Lucia Restaurant Review:
David Uygur built a following at Lola, where he wowed diners with inventive dishes at his limited-seat chef's table. Lola closed in 2009, giving David and his wife Jennifer the excuse to open their own mom-and-pop serving rustic Italian in hip Bishop Arts. Uygur uses Italian as a jumping-off point, creating food that's his own interpretation of the cuisine. He tends to cook his meats and proteins slowly, braising until their flavor and texture become ripe and sultry. Lucia's menu adheres to the Italian approach --- antipasti, pasta/primi, main and dessert --- with the pasta/primi offered in a small version should you plan to do all four. The menu changes seasonally but usually has a risotto, gnocchi, seafood and game. He uses cheeses, nuts, fruits and herbs with potent results in dishes like cauliflower soup with Calabrian chili oil and mint; and duck breast with farro verde, greens and poached quince. Everything's made in-house, from the crusty bread to the cured meats on his signature salumi plate. Desserts such as pudding with vermouth-soaked raisins come in grandmotherly etched goblets. Jennifer oversees the front of the house and the Italo-centric wine list, which she stocks with small hard-to-find labels.

We hold 135 venues in Dallas, TX and could score 29 of them. This one is not among them, so it has no position — not a low one.
There is no score breakdown to show: nothing we read about this venue earned points in any of the four categories, so a bar chart of zeroes would look like a verdict on the kitchen rather than on what it publishes. What we did read is below.
v1.7.4 0.0/100 = sourcing 0.0/50 (named-farm 0 distinct, named-region 0 distinct, attribute 0 distinct, buzzword 0 distinct) + farm partners 0.0/20 (none scored) + registry 0.0/12 (none listed) + press 0.0/18 (capped at 35% of the 0.0-point evidence base).
Buzzwords only. This venue uses sourcing language ("farm-fresh", "locally sourced") but names no farms, regions, or verifiable attributes.

“Not listed” means the day was absent from the schedule we read — usually closed, but we never saw it stated, so we don’t claim it.
