THE APPARATUS ROOM
The Apparatus Room occupies the space on our first floor where Detroit’s firetruck cavalry once stood ready. The cuisine is genuine, but it also features a contemporary touch and elegance that keeps our reputation lively within the local culinary scene. It’s no surprise that it has been named restaurant of the year multiple times.

Our award-winning New American restaurant features an all-day menu filled with nourishing ingredients. Our kitchen team sources the freshest fare from local farmers and makers to offer a taste of our abundant local ingredients. Think Eagle Creek Fish Co. trout, Stoney Creek mushrooms, Moraine Park Farms beef, and even honey from local aviary Bees in the D. These ingredients set the tone for your meal. Start the day with a farm egg omelet with 20-month comte cheese or a stack of buttermilk pancakes with local syrup at breakfast.
